Following yesterday’s Darth Vader-heavy trailer, Lucasfilm has released another international trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. As an added bonus, there’s also a new TV spot, both of which offer some previously unseen footage from the upcoming spinoff / prequel story — along with some much-needed optimism for the end of this stressful week.

Following this past weekend’s premiere of a new TV spot for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Lucasfilm has revealed two more international posters for the upcoming spinoff / prequel. With the film’s release just over a month away, you should probably get used to the idea of seeing a whole lot more of Jyn Erso & Co. as Lucasfilm’s marketing machine starts cranking out promo materials more frequently.

Inferno marks the third movie from director Ron Howard and star Tom Hanks based on the popular novels by Dan Brown about Harvard professor and symbologist Robert Langdon. They’re all vary degrees of bad — and Inferno is easily the worst of the bunch — but what’s particularly galling about this franchise are the years Howard and Hanks, two of our most dependable filmmakers, have wasted on it. Together they’ve made Splash and Apollo 13; separately their credits include Cinderella Man, The Paper, Saving Private Ryan, Captain Phillips and so many others. How many great movies could they have made, as a team or as individuals, if they hadn’t committed their talents to these cruddy thrillers?

In Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Felicity Jones’ rebellious Jyn Erso and her team are on a mission to retrieve the plans to the Death Star which, judging by these new character posters, have been right in front of their faces THE ENTIRE TIME. Actually, on their faces, and they look like intricate Etch-a-Sketch doodles uploaded to the Grid in Tron.

Fresh from its premiere this morning on Good Morning America, here it is: The new Rogue One: A Star Wars Story trailer. Gareth Edwards directs this direct prequel to the original Star Wars about a plucky band of rebels charged with finding the weakness in the Galactic Empire’s new weapon, the Death Star.

Those pesky whisperings of reshoots for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story have been a thorn in the side of the upcoming film, at least amongst those who believe that reshoots can make or break a movie at the box office. The reshoots were rumored to have been ordered to “lighten the mood” of the movie, which, fine, Star Wars is, primarily, all about having fun and believing in yourself, and the dour mood of the prequels didn’t do those movies any favors. Now, Rogue One’s star Felicity Jones is here to reassure us all that the reshoots are really no big deal.

The Topps Star Wars: Card Trader digital trading card game has been around since a little before the release of The Force Awakens last year, when the iOS and Android app launched. It became pretty popular, providing a paperless way of trading cards back and forth through smartphones, with about a million users and 60 million individual cards. Ahead of this winter’s release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Topps has released the artwork for six new trading cards, featuring characters from the upcoming film.

With the overwhelmingly positive reception its fantastical trailers have gotten, and the fact that J.A. Bayona’s A Monster Calls is set to premiere next week at the Toronto International Film Festival, Focus Features has moved the film’s release date from October to December, possibly to give it a better chance at competing during awards season.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is the subject of a big feature in next month’s issue of Empire Magazine, which means we can expect to learn a whole lot more about the making of Lucasfilm’s new spinoff in the coming weeks. Until then, you can get a new look at Felicity Jones’ Jyn Erso and her team of merry rebel misfits on the cover of the forthcoming issue, which also offers another peek at K-2SO.

In the first teaser trailer for ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,’ Mon Mothma revealed the first details about the movie’s plot: the Rebels were going after the Death Star plans. But the trailer didn’t include Mothma’s full dialogue. Thanks to a new international trailer, we now know who tipped off the Rebel Alliance.
