Only a few short years ago, Netflix had in mind to double its roster of original programming by 2016. That goal has more or less been achieved, with something new debuting practically every Friday, so what’s next? Why, launching even more originals, to the point they make up 50% of the streaming service’s offerings, per Netflix brass.

Even as Netflix’s Fuller House breezed right past our derision into a second season, the sitcom sequel may never live down its bizarre shade at the Olsen twins, either of which declined to reprise their role as Michelle for even the basest cameo. Now, with Season 2 well into production, the cast believes they’ve given up on ever seeing Michelle again.

A few weeks back, bizarre news that Netflix’s Fuller House had viewership on par with The Walking Dead caught us by surprise, and it seems the Tanners may be unstoppable on the streaming service. Just when you hoped April Fools’ would see Netflix finally admitting its entire announcement, production, and release of Fuller House as a prank, we’re left with nothing but John Stamos. The apparently-immortal Full House star instead has a new Netflix reality series (prank), releasing its full trailer.

There’s a persistent air of meta-awareness circulating through the Tanner household in Netflix’s Fuller House, whether acknowledging the Olsen’s absence, or the series’ history, that it’s only fair the reviews follow suit.
