We’re barely halfway through November, and already FX and FXX are gearing up their winter wares for 2016. The cable network has set official premieres for the eleventh season of Always Sunny, as well as the premiere of Ryan Murphy’s American Crime Story, two comedies and more.

The Tracy Morgan comeback train has officially left the station, between the 30 Rock star’s triumphant public return to last night’s 2015 Emmy Awards, and an upcoming SNL return to firmly put the 2014 auto accident behind him. We can also once again expect Morgan to headline his own FXX series, as the recovered comedian assures that development will resume.

FX and FXX’s The League has quietly sprinted toward the end zone of its seventh and final season in recent weeks, but may find its victory lap marred by a disturbing truth. Series lead Steve Rannazzisi has publicly admitted to fabricating a long-told story of nearly perishing at the World Trade Center in the 9/11 attack of 2001.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia hasn’t lost many steps over ten (!) seasons to date, but FX and FXX still know how to take the Paddy’s Pub gang off sure footing. Our first look at Mac, Dennis, Dee, Charlie and Frank’s 2016 return has arrived, as the gang hits the slopes, nearly drowns, and ruins even more lives.

As Hannibal fans this weekend (and billions of others before them) can attest, too long has the antiquated Nielsen ratings system given an incomplete picture of a show’s viewership, swaying networks to and fro of cancellation. We may finally have some progress however, as Nielsen will begin taking into account streaming data from the likes of Hulu, Netflix and beyond.

FX has released a flurry of news from the ongoing Television Critics Association press tour, between a renewed Strain and its hottest premieres, but the latest news might prove more worrisome. After six seasons, Archer will move to FXX (gaining a new companion series), while FX has officially granted Louie star Pamela Adlon her own series.

FX anti-romcom You’re The Worst may have a slightly less convenient living arrangement by its Season 2 move to FXX, but that’s oddly appropriate for where our core couple left off in Season 1. Before the September 9 premiere, gird your liver against five new trailers for Jimmy and Gretchen’s obviously-doomed cohabitation.

FX spinoff network FXX may still seem like the pasture for less favorable shows, but its September lineup of premieres should put plenty of eyes in focus. Not only will the final season of sports fantasy comedy The League premiere this coming September, but also the second run of critical breakout You’re The Worst.

Whether or not the 2015 Emmy nominations reflect it, FX’s anti-romance You’re The Worst burst onto the comedy scene as one of the better series of the year, soon continuing its greatness with a second run on FXX. We don’t yet know its September premiere date, but the first Worst Season 2 teasers are all we need to destroy what remains of romantic love.
