The era of Baby Groot is over, and Teen Groot is upon us.

Vin Diesel is kinda like that guy at all the parties who always wants to talk to you about his awesome new startup. It’s gonna be the best, way better than the last one, it’s gonna win tons of awards and make billions of dollars. Sure, Vin, you say. That sounds great. But he just keeps doing it. It comes from a good place: the man loves his movies. But, boy, does he love hyping them even more. Most recently, he suggested that we haven’t even seen Groot’s mega-evolution yet — the first two forms have just been kid stuff.

There are very few certainties you can count on in this life. Death and taxes are often at the top of that list, but Baby Groot being cute af might soon usurp one of Benjamin Franklin's oldest adages. The word of comics and the world of professional wrestling have one big thing in common: nothing is better than seeing two of your favorite characters duke it out in a highly anticipated battle royale. The MCU is no different: it’s exciting to think about our favorites finally getting the chance to team up, but what if they fight each other instead? Batman v. Superman was a little anticlimactic in that regard, but Captain America: Civil War really made it difficult to choose sides when half of the Avengers turned against the other half. Vin Diesel seems to think another battle between two very large team members might happen onscreen: Groot vs. Hulk.

Ever since James Gunn's 'Guardians of the Galaxy' got Marvelites hooked on these intergalactic superheroes with attitude, the cosplay world has been a boomin' with Rocket Raccoons, Gamoras, Star-Lords and even a bunch of Nebulas, but nothing makes us say "I am Groot" quite like this incredible Groot cosplay.

This week, Marvel Studios' new film, 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' will open in theaters. One of the aforementioned Guardians is a walking, talking tree named Groot, voiced by Vin Diesel. Earlier today, footage was released of Vin Diesel voicing Groot in a number of languages, including Russian. Earlier today, we got a chance to speak with Russian Groot
