Weekend Box Office Report: ‘Mockingjay’ Crushes Thanksgiving Weekend
Appropriately, the Thanksgiving holiday box office was all about the leftovers. While two high profile new releases struggled to open, films from the past few weeks continued to do solid business. In fact, this was one of the most varied weekends at the box office in quite some time, with YA adaptations, animated family movies, epic blockbusters, and small independent films all performing better than expected.

Review: ‘Horrible Bosses 2’ Was a Horrible Idea
Some ideas just aren’t cut out for sequels. ‘The Hangover’ was ingenious and hilarious—for one movie. But another ‘Hangover’? With the same guys? That doesn’t make a ton of sense. ‘The Blue Lagoon’ was striking and exotic. But a ‘Return to the Blue Lagoon’? More castaways? On the exact same deserted island? Sorry, no thanks. To the list of concepts that could not support a sequel but got one anyway, we can now add ‘Horrible Bosses 2,’ a flimsy retread of the 2011 comedy that had barely enough material to fill one film.

A new, full trailer for 'Horrible Bosses 2' has arrived, and in it we see just what it is that has driven our favorite bad co-workers/besties to such horrible lengths this time around: turns out, being an entrepreneur isn't as easy as you might think, and neither is kidnapping ... or, uh, "kidnaping." Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day are back in 'Horrible Bosses 2,' and these working stiffs have some new adversaries to face. As New Line Cinema announced the start of production in Los Angeles, California (from which we've obtained the first set photos), the studio also revealed the official plot synopsis and the full involvement of newcomers Chris Pine and Christoph Waltz.
