The kids are officially not all right. Marvel’s Hulu Runaways have serious parental problems as the next generation of heroes stumble into some evil dealings in the first trailer. And to paraphrase a certain raccoon from another corner of the Marvel universe, “he didn’t say ‘stuff.’”

If Marvel TV has a thing for unlikely superheroes, Hulu’s Runaways might be the unlikeliest yet. Meet the whole gang and their mysterious “Pride” in first photos from the forthcoming Marvel series.

We’ve yet to see much live-action Marvel TV outside of ABC and Netflix, so will Hulu break the dam? We’ll find out when the Runaways are finally found on Hulu, now that they’ve set a Pride-ful November premiere.

Just as one crew of offbeat Marvel heroes is coming together, another is only getting started. Hulu has officially placed a 2018 series order for its new Runaways, based on the fan-favorite comics.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer got another turn in that vampire-dusting sun with the recent 20th anniversary, and all those old romances remain as divisive as ever. That said, when Sarah Michelle Gellar plays “marry, shag, kill” with the Buffy trio of Angel, Spike and Xander … well, the outcome probably isn’t going to shock you.

Well, they had to be running away from something, right? Hot on the heels of casting its leads, Marvel’s Hulu Runaways prepares to embarrass them all with a cast full of “Pride”-ful parents, including Buffy breakout James Marsters, 24 and Alias alum, and a whole host of others.

It feels like forever and a day we’ve been dividing ships of one dystopian and/or supernatural couple or another, but certainly Joss Whedon deserves credit for Buffy the Vampire Slayer cementing the trend. Over a decade later, fans are still torn over which en-souled vampire marks Buffy’s one true love, but Joss Whedon has formally made his choice. Sound the alarm, and get out your stakes.
