It looks like Joe Carnahan's take on 'Daredevil' will be one of those great "What If"  projects that fans will speculate about for a long time, like David Lynch directing 'Return of the Jedi' or Ridley Scott helming 'Dune.' Carnahan said on Twitter he would unleash his demo reels if his followers were interested, and now we have them.

The 'Daredevil' reboot Fox is currently planning is working under a tight time constraint. The studio has until October 10th to greenlight the project before the rights revert back to Marvel Studios. The project seemed to have some life when Fox brought in director Joe Carnahan ('The Grey') who had some passion for the material. Sadly, it doesn't look as if Fox shared that passion.

Fox wants Joe Carnahan on the 'Daredevil' reboot, but those rights are going to run out soon. Solution: Fox and Marvel are discussing a trade that would give Silver Surfer and Galactus back to Marvel in exchange for more time with the blind superhero.
