Star Wars Celebration is going to be kind of a big deal for fans of the epic franchise. In addition to directors, stars, producers and various behind the scenes talent from the very first film up to now, there will be panels, interactive events and…a screening of Revenge of the Sith in 3D, if you’re into that. Lucasfilm just made two pretty important additions to the lineup today, confirming Star Wars standalone film directors Gareth Edwards and Josh Trank — which means we could learn more about these two mysterious projects pretty soon.

The Fantastic Four marketing campaign so far has been a little unusual. The movie doesn't look that bad, but it almost seems like Fox is scared of it. So far, they skipped Comic-Con, waited until February to release a teaser trailer and yesterday's poster was just a rehash of a previously released publicity still. So, we guess it shouldn't be at all surprising that our first look at The Thing in full on “clobberin time” mode is from someone's Instagram page.

In an age where audiences are inundated with superhero movies and superhero movie news, Josh Trank’s upcoming Fantastic Four reboot has distinguished itself from the pack by being the movie that no one knows anything about. Aside from that vague, Interstellar-inspired teaser trailer, most of what we know about this film comes from hearsay and gossip. The ‘Fantastic Four’ reboot is scheduled to hit theaters in seven months, yet we’ve known so little about Josh Trank’s film, and we’ve seen even less (like, zero) from the project. That changes now, as Trank and producer Simon Kinberg have opened up about the film, discussing everything from the comic book and cinematic influences, to the score and production, and we’ve even got our first official peek at the set.

Given how little we’ve heard about the ‘Fantastic Four’ reboot, it’s appeared as though Fox may be a bit nervous or unsure about the film. We’re seven months away from the release, and we’ve yet to see a single promotional image or teaser, which is pretty unusual for a major blockbuster. There have been a lot of rumors swirling this week, and with the announcement that the film is heading back to do some reshoots, those rumors are swirling even more. But there’s some good news: you’ll be able to see the first teaser next month.
