Swept up in the ever whirling wind of movie-TV reboots was Bradley Cooper’s 2011 thriller Limitless, and the CBS adaptation has officially found a new man to pop some smart pills. Cooper’s own American Sniper war buddy Jake McDorman will step in as the new leading man of CBS’ Limitless, 10% of his brain and all.

Whether or not you thought Bradley Cooper’s 2011 ‘Limitless’ needed a TV reboot of the 100% brain-power hero solving cases for the FBI, CBS certainly seems committed to making it work. Director Neil Burger has exited the remake project for scheduling purposes, surprisingly leaving ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ helmer Marc Webb in his place.

The prospect of a ‘Limitless’ TV series to follow Bradley Cooper’s 2011 “10% of your brain” thriller has been floating around for a few years now, but CBS may be the one to finally make it happen. The ‘Limitless’ follow-up has officially been given a pilot order, along with new details on how the series would tie in with the original film.
