Starz’s American Gods may adjust Neil Gaiman’s novel for the screen, but the question remains how Bryan Fuller might conjure material beyond the literary tale. Gaiman had announced a sequel novel to his original bestseller, but in lieu of an official plan, is at least advising the Starz series on potential roadblocks.

It’s taken forever and a day to get Y: The Last Man adapted to live-action, let along the FX version in development since at least 2015, but there’s hope on the horizon. Not only do we have a showrunner, but FX expects a script arriving within a few months, and confirms a format for the comic-adapted drama.

Bryan Fuller is no stranger to remixing and re-imagining established canon, as we’ll soon re-learn with Starz’s long-gestating adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s American Gods. Now, a new photo reveals a fresh addition to Shadow Moon’s opposing deities, as Corbin Bernsen takes a role as the unofficial God of Guns.

It’s been some time since we’ve had any update on FX’s long-developing iteration of an even longer-developing Y: The Last Man TV series, and if ever we needed a TV series with powerful women at its center, now’s the time. To wit, reports indicate the series might finally have a showrunner, borrowing American Gods and Heroes alum Michael Green.

It's been all quiet on the 'Prometheus 2' front for a while now, and it seemed like the studio might let the proposed sequel shrink away. Today proves that they're still interested as Michael Green has been hired to do rewrites, and Fox is looking at a fall start date, with a possible March 2016 release.
