Marvel’s box office-shattering crossover has made the TV timelines even more complicated, and perhaps severed their connection the MCU. Maybe that’s a good thing.
Some of Marvel’s most beloved and diverse superheroes are headed to the small-screen. The comics giant is working on a new animated Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors project, featuring fan-favorites like Ms. Marvel, Squirrel Girl, Spider-Gwen, and some familiar voices from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Marvel raised eyebrows adding yet a second series to Freeform after Cloak and Dagger, but the New Warriors may have powered through. Reports indicate the half-hour superhero comedy has outgrown its Freeform home, and will look for a new network with a potential two-season order.
