Nine years later, they’re back with a sequel, simply titled Jason Bourne. Two teasers have arrived online, offering some new footage and revealing the premiere date for the next trailer. Thankfully, you won’t have to wait long for that trailer to deliver on the promise of these teasers.

Here’s what we know: Bourne 5 is happening with director Paul Greengrass and Matt Damon returning — both having previously sworn off the series unless they could find another good story to tell about Jason Bourne. Apparently they found one, along with a few good co-stars and…that’s all we know. Paul Greengrass’ upcoming fifth installment in the Bourne franchise continues to grow an impressive cast. Joining a returning Matt Damon are Julia Stiles and Alicia Vikander, while Viggo Mortensen was recently rumored to be in talks for a role as well. The latest big name to join the lineup is legendary actor and career curmudgeon Tommy Lee Jones.

Director Paul Greengrass and Matt Damon are reuniting for the upcoming fifth Bourne film, and they’re bringing a familiar face with them. Julia Stiles, who appeared in the first three Bourne films as CIA agent Nicky Parsons, has signed on to reprise her role for the fifth. In addition, Universal also has their sights set on Viggo Mortensen to play the villain in the upcoming sequel.

A few years back, director Paul Greengrass was attempting to get a Jimi Hendrix biopic off the ground, but without the okay from the late rock icon’s estate, development came to a halt. Whatever differences Greengrass and Legendary Pictures had with the estate now seem to have been settled, as the director and studio are moving forward with their planned biopic, which now has an official blessing.
