The first official teaser for Disney's remake of Pete's Dragon arrives on Sunday evening, but you can catch a glimpse of the friendly new dragon with a new poster and motion poster for the upcoming film. You can't see the big green guy's face, but these posters do give us a sense of where Disney and director David Lowery are heading with their reimagining of the 1977 fantasy classic.
It’s officially 2016. Our Best of 2015 lists have all been published and the new year is upon us, which means it’s time to start looking to the future. Yes, 2015 was a particularly good year for movie fans, but 2016 looks pretty impressive too. You like Coen Bros. movies? We got one of those. You like Star Wars? Yup, one of those too. Here are the movies we’re looking forward to the most in 2016, in the order of release date (those with no release date are listed in alphabetical order).
There’s a bunch of Disney release date news today, as the studio has announced when we’ll see the ‘Ghost in the Shell’ movie starring Scarlett Johansson, that ‘Pete’s Dragon’ remake, and a new date for Jon Favreau’s live-action take on ‘The Jungle Book.’ We know, it’s a lot to process. We’re here to help.
