Whether or not Game of Thrones lives up to Pilou Asbæk’s promise that Euron Greyjoy will out-evil Joffrey or Ramsey, the character needed a stronger impression. That’s exactly what we’ll get, as Season 7 apparently changed Euron’s look and made him “more charming overall.”

Game of Thrones is never without at least one insufferable cad in a position of usurped authority, so who might fill the void left by Ramsay Bolton? According to star Pilou Asbæk, we might come to hate Euron Greyjoy in Season 7 even more-so than Ramsay or Joffrey.

Pre-production on Rupert Sanders’ (director of Snow White and the Huntsman) live-action adaptation of the seminal manga series Ghost in the Shell has been moving right along, accumulating cast members and staying right on schedule for a March 31 release in 2017. Scarlett Johansson has already signed on to play the lead role, a skilled female hacker who breaks up cybercrime in the employ of the Japanese National Public Safety Commission’s covert ops unit. Earlier this month, Borgen actor (and Johansson’s former co-star in the mind-bending Lucy) Pilou Asbæk joined the cast as her second-in-command, a lethal fighter in his own right.

After years of development and uncertainty, the Ghost in the Shell movie is finally preparing to head into production, with Scarlett Johansson set to play the lead role in the English-language adaptation of the beloved Japanese anime. And it looks like Johansson will be keeping some familiar company, as her Lucy co-star Pilou Asbæk has joined the cast.
