ScreenCrush and GuySpeed have partnered up to bring you a weekly DVD giveaway. This week, we have the 'Red Dawn' remake featuring Chris Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Josh Peck and Adrianne Palicki.
'Red Dawn,' a remake of the '80s classic, follows a group of teens who must band together to save their town from a North Korean invasion. We sat down with stars Adrianne Palicki and Josh Peck to discuss how the cast got a little too familiar with each other and the physical challenges endured while filming the movie, which opens today.
And maybe we talked about David Bowie, too.
The long-in-the-works remake of 'Red Dawn' premiered at Fantastic Fest the other day (check out our own Matt Singer's review here), but those eagerly anticipating the remake of the 1984 semi-classic will have to wait until November 21 to see it for themselves. If you just can't wait, Ain't It Cool News has premiered a new clip from the film, which you can watch for yourself below.
I've seen plenty of airbrushed actors in my time, but I don't know if I've ever watched an airbrushed movie before the new version of 'Red Dawn.' This remake of John Milius' conservative '80 classic strips away almost all of the material's political dimensions, turning a gonzo paranoid fantasy into just another slick action movie. The original was crazy and silly, but at least it was deeply felt.
The poster for the long-delayed remake of 'Red Dawn' starring Chris Hemsworth has finally arrived. So we guess the folks at FilmDistrict weren't lying, and we'll get to see this movie pretty soon after all. Wolverines!
It's a movie we thought might never get released in theaters but the 'Red Dawn' reboot has a trailer and will finally, after years of delays, be released this November. So is it any good?
