Just as Arrow suits up for its final episodes of Season 5, the end is already here. The end for all CW shows, that is, as everyone from Supergirl to Jane The Virgin and those sexy murder-teens at Riverdale set season (or series) finale dates from May through June.

The CW’s Riverdale has been performing strongly enough in its inaugural episodes that The CW is considering a whole mess of Archie-related shows, so it shouldn’t surprise you that Riverdale itself will earn another round. Yes, the weird Twin Peaks-meets-malt shoppe vibe of Riverdale is happening again.

The success of Arrow has now preceded no less than four CW DC dramas, so might Archie follow suit after the rave reception of Riverdale? A new development deal with Archie Comics could see additional characters landing shows to complement the malt shop murder-mystery, if not additional superhero series.

We like to have our fun with The CW’s sexy re-imagining of any property they can get their hands on, but boy, if Archie reboot Riverdale isn’t quickly becoming the poster-child. Archie appears romantically involved with most everyone in town by the extended Riverdale trailer, with a side-helping of murderous teen angst and a little Barb.

The CW’s sexed-up Archie reboot Riverdale might bring in viewers just to find out what this show actually is, given the vague and haunting teasers to date. The newest trailer for the 2017 premiere throws a good deal more murder into the mix as well, including some student-teacher relations for dear-old Archibald.

We all have our fun with The CW’s outrageously attractive casts pushing the limits of teen drama, but can a dash of Archie balance the scales? We’ll find out, as Riverdale and its inhabitants get a dramatic (and sexy, don’t forget sexy) makeover in the first 2017 trailer.

Well, The CW deal with Hulu that enabled next-day streaming of the most recent five episodes may have lapsed, but Netflix subscribers are officially in for some good news. The CW has confirmed a new streaming deal that will bring full seasons of CW shows a mere eight days after their finales air on the network.

Welp, if ever you wanted to overload on TV superheros, have we got a Comic-Con for you! Warner Bros. TV has officially loaded up on 21 series headed to San Diego this year, from Flash to Supergirl to Powerless, Justice League Action, and a few non-superhero series like The Big Bang Theory, The 100, and Animaniacs.
