Star Wars: Forces of Destiny

It could be some time before Star Wars returns any of our faves to their roles, so leave it to Disney to bridge the gap. A new season of Star Wars: Forces of Destiny already has Mark Hamill back to playing Luke Skywalker; also cluing us in on Last Jedi deleted scenes and more.

Star Wars Rebels won’t officially conclude its fourth and final season until 2018, but both Rogue One and the animated Forces of Destiny have offered tantalizing clues. Now, the latest short definitively answers the fate of several Rebels figures beyond Rogue One, and potentially into the new trilogy.

This past weekend, Hasbro's biggest brands gathered in Providence, Rhode Island for the first ever HasCon, and gave fans a much more intimate and personal glimpse at what the future of Star Wars toys held. While there weren't many new reveals on display, thanks in large to Hasbro just releasing a bevvy of new Star Wars toys at the start of the month, there was still plenty of love for the Black Series, Forces of Destiny, and everything in between.

The first wave of Star Wars: Forces of Destiny animated episodes dropped earlier this summer, with even more planned to come as the year continues. As part of that release, Hasbro has finally unleashed its wave of Forces of Destiny collectibles on the hungry masses, including new action dolls and role-play accessories for kids. Never one to pass up a good Star Wars toy, we snapped up the new Princess Leia and Rey adventure sets to get an idea of what Forces of Destiny's toy line had to offer.
