Our first official look at The 100 Season 3 premiere “Wanheda” got strangely uplifting with Shawn Mendes at the piano, but thankfully a new trailer pulls us right back into the darkness. Remember the dead at Mount Weather, and prepare for the truce to break in a brand-new trailer for Season 3!

The 100 can be many things, from Battlestar Galactica to LOST, but musical is rarely one of them. Before all-out Grounder war erupts anew in Season 3, enjoy one of the peaceful moments in our first clip from the premiere, curiously featuring singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes.

The CW’s The 100 more than satiated fan hunger for Season 3 with its epic first trailer, but why stop there? The cycle starts anew in a full round of photos from January 21 premiere “Wanheda,” as Clarke sports a new look, and at least one survivor is apparently dealt a grave injury.

While you weren’t looking, The CW’s The 100 quietly evolved into one of the best network shows out there, combining equal parts Battlestar Galactica, LOST and The Hunger Games, and often the source of TV’s most brutal action. Season 3 won’t debut until January, but in the meantime, The CW went heavy on insane new footage for the full trailer.

Of all the climactic CW starts and stops over the last few months, The 100 fans in particular have waited patiently for the breakout sci-fi drama’s return. We’ll have to endure the wait until January 21 for Season 3, but ease the pain with our first official footage from the new year, as what’s left of the world hunts for Clarke!

The CW had itself a banner day, dropping some big news in the form of a Legends of Tomorrow trailer and premiere, simultaneously making waves with the rest of its 2016 schedule. We now know when The 100 will return for Season 3, what it means for The Vampire Diaries, and what fans of iZombie and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend can look forward to.

Marvel may be sitting out Comic-Con 2015 (at least on the movies side) but good grief if DC isn’t pumping everything they have into San Diego this year, big screen and small. Warner Bros. TV has set a whopping 18 shows to have a presence at Comic-Con, including another “Superhero Saturday Night” for the likes of Arrow, The Flash, Gotham, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl and more.
