'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug' continues the journey of Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), the wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and their merry band of dwarves. After setting foot in Rivendale, and encountering trolls and even Gollum himself, the next installment in Peter Jackson's trilogy continues the group's 'Unexpected Journey' to liberate the dwarfs' land from the dragon Smaug (voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch).
