What’s a Vin Diesel movie without the possibility of a sequel to a Vin Diesel movie? The actor has grown quite comfortable starring in franchises, from Riddick to Fast and Furious and Guardians of the Galaxy, but there’s one older Diesel property that the actor thinks deserving of a sequel: Brad Bird’s The Iron Giant.

First announced last month, Warner Bros. is bringing Brad Bird's The Iron Giant back to theaters this fall with a newly remastered "signature edition." To go along with the re-release, WB has put together a new trailer for the beloved animated classic, so you might want to have some tissues handy because it's about to get real misty in here.

First released in 1999, Brad Bird’s The Iron Giant wasn’t very successful, but quickly found life on home video and is now revered as a modern classic. And it’ll have a second chance to succeed at the box office this September.
