There have been a lot of rumors swirling in recent weeks about the state of The Terminator franchise. First there was word that Paramount had removed a possible sixth Terminator (and a direct sequel to 2015’s Terminator Genisys) from its schedule. Then the head of Skydance, who holds the rights to the characters, said in an interview that a major announcement about the series’ future was coming some time this year. So what’s the truth?

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Conan franchise doesn’t look to be going anywhere just yet, and TV could always use more female leads, so is Red Sonja about to raise her sword? A new report suggests none other than X-Men maestro Bryan Singer himself is working on an “R-rated” TV take on the famed character, likely engineered for cable.

In news that will make some of you very happy (looking at you, Matt Singer), Arnold Schwarzenegger says that he’s actively meeting with directors for his long-developing Conan the Barbarian sequel. Previously known as The Legend of Conan, the screenplay for the project is now complete and it may have a shiny new title.

It's been all quiet on 'The Legend of Conan' front for a while now, and with the weak performance of 'The Last Stand' on top of the 2011 reboot (with Jason Momoa) we weren't sure if the third "official" Conan movie would move forward. But have no fear, a new writer has been hired to pen the tale of Arnold Schwarzenegger's King Conan.

An update of the 'Conan the Barbarian' franchise ('Conan' starring 'Game of Thrones' star Jason Momoa) did not go so well a few years ago, but bringing Arnold Schwarzenegger back to the fold could be exactly what the franchise needs.
