Disney Junior is getting its own Rocketeer series — watch the first trailer now.

The Rocketeer is officially blasting off once more, albeit into an unexpected landing zone. The classic jetpack-wearing hero will be reborn with a new animated series on Disney Junior, and a new heroine strapping on the pack.

We've already featured the Rocketeer before, but we wanted to showcase an American hero on the Fourth of July who wasn't Captain America, so the limelight falls on him again! And besides ... what's not to like about a stunt pilot who flies around fighting Nazis?

Today's cosplay is a reader submission of one seriously awesome and elaborate 'Rocketeer' costume, based on the comic book and Disney film.

Ever since the recent position changes that have taken place at Walt Disney Pictures, you'd imagine that they would try to spice up their movie slate with some shining new properties.
