You’d be forgiven not to remember that Netflix confirmed a Lost in Space reboot series way back in 2016, but the danger to Will Robinson is finally real. The Jupiter 2 launches anew in our first teaser for the revamped sci-fi classic, which has already charted an April premiere.

Netflix finally got the ball rolling on its Lost in Space reboot series with the casting of Taylor Russell, and now the displaced family Robinson has a patriarch as well. Fresh off the final season of Starz’s Black Sails, Toby Stephens will serve as the Robinson family head who gets his family Lost in Space.

Starz is certainly transitioning to a stronger foothold in premium cable, to shift its major releases to Sunday, and garner major recognition with the likes of Outlander, American Gods and more, but will now cast off one of its former anchors. Pirate drama Black Sails will officially come to an end after Season 4, the network confirms.
