The first trailer for 'Transcendence' has landed -- which stars Johnny Depp and is directed by Wally Pfister -- and it's familiar but fascinating. The film is a thriller about the possible dangers of the singularity, or at least the singularity fronted by Johnny Depp.

'Transcendence' is looking to be one of the biggest sci-fi flicks of the next couple years, mainly because we're intrigued by the mysteriousness of the the project, which is eyeing an April 2014 release. 'Transcendence' is starting to look like it'll have something for everyone.
