Just the other day, Showtime’s Shameless gave us our first taste of Season 6 with a plethora of debaucherous teasers, and now the Gallagher family is apt to burn things down even faster. The official premiere has been moved up, while Shameless Season 6 celebrates with its first trailer and poster.

We’ve had an eventful year, TV-wise, but it’s never too early to start looking ahead to 2016. To wit, the Gallagher family is already back, and more crass than ever, as Showtime previews the premiere of Shameless Season 6 with a host of new promos.

If you feeling like throw up for a couple hours, take a look at the Wikipedia page for the Elisabeth Fritzl case. Fritzl was imprisoned in 1984 by her father Josef; she didn’t escape until 2008. In the intervening years, Josef repeatedly raped his daughter, and she gave birth to seven of his children; four of them remained incarcerated with Elisabeth, while the other three were adopted by Josef and his wife (he claimed he found them abandoned). Finally, after 24 years of the worst torture imaginable, Elisabeth managed to break free.

Imagine you’re asked to appear as an extra in a new movie. Also imagine you’re told but a handful of things about the movie: that it’s set in the seventies, that it stars Burt Reynolds, and that you just need to clap a lot during some sort of awards show scene.

The last look at 'Shameless' season 5 gave the sinful Showtime series some new footage to tide us over until January 11, but that doesn't stop the Gallaghers from serving up a fresh round of debauchery in the newest sneak peek. See the 'Shameless' crew take on both corporate and counter-culture in the first official season 5 poster, as well as a brand-new teaser with fresh footage and new looks!

Though only October, 2015 will soon be upon us, and with it the return of Showtime Sunday favorites like 'House of Lies' and 'Shameless.' And where the latter skewed a bit darker in season 4 (despite moving to the comedy section for Emmy purposes), the first full trailer for 'Shameless' season 5 sees Fiona and the Gallaghers returning to their destructive ways, with a few new (and returning) faces plenty visible.
