What’s Your Bacon Number? Google Reveals How Close You Are to Kevin Bacon

Google has already turned into a digital monolith that's dominating the internet with their many Google Maps, Google Doodles, Google Glasses and an artificial, cat-loving brain. But none of their competitors will be able to compete with what they've got in store for us now -- introducing the "Bacon number scale!"

Have you ever wondered how many degrees of separation lie between yourself and the infamous Kevin Bacon of 'Footloose' and 'Hollow Man' fame? Well, now finding out is as simple as Googling it. As part of the search engine's initiative to provide you with the best results by mixing in facts with your searches, Google now also provides you with the Bacon number of almost any person. All you have to do is type in "Bacon number [PERSON'S NAME]" into the Google search bar and out pops the score.

It's based off of the "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" trivia game, which spoofs the Six Degrees of Separation theory (everyone on the planet is connected to everyone through six people at most).
