Crackle keeps chugging away at original scripted dramas to compete with other streaming outlets, but will Snatch be the big ticket? Our first intel on the remake of Guy Ritchie’s 2002 crime dramedy has a major Harry Potter star in its ensemble, along with the likes of Dougray Scott, Ed Westwick and more.

Per the streaming outlet’s official confirmation, the new Fargo-esque reinvention will feature Rupert Grint in the role of “the dynamic, frustratingly chaotic and utterly posh Charlie Cavendish,” also serving as executive producer. The 10-hour series will also feature recent Fear The Walking Dead castoff Dougray Scott as Vic Hill, and Gossip Girl alum Ed Westwick as Sonny Castillo.

Production will begin next week in Manchester for a 2017 bow, as directed by Nick Renton. So reads the official synopsis:

Inspired by a real life heist in London, “Snatch,” centers on a group of twenty-something, up and coming hustlers who stumble upon a truck load of stolen gold bullion and are suddenly thrust into the high-stakes world of organized crime. The boys must quickly learn to navigate the treacherous waters of London’s underworld as rogue cops, gypsy fighters, international mobsters and local villains descend.

The original film starred the impressive likes of Jason Statham, Brad Pitt, Lennie James, Dennis Farina, Vinnie Jones and Benicio del Toro, among others, but will Crackle’s reinvented take garner the same appeal? Watch the original Snatch trailer below.
