The new 'Despicable Me 2' trailer is here and it's here to remind us that even with all the Iron Men and Supermen in theaters this summer, 'Despicable Me 2' is one film you shouldn't discount when it comes to what could be the biggest movies of 2013. Yup, the kiddies are gonna love this one (oh, okay, we admit we think we're gonna love it too...).

This 'Despicable Me 2' trailer features everything that was great about the first film: the cute kids, the cuter Minions and Steve Carell's Gru being weird. Not much is known about the film's plot but from this trailer we can gather a few things. It seems Gru has been kidnapped by an "Anti Villain League" who wants to recruit him to help them defeat the biggest supervillain of all (unpictured in this trailer but voiced in the film by Al Pacino).

As previously mentioned, this trailer has a lot of what worked so well in the original film and it's easy to see how this film could be even bigger than the original (which made over $500 million worldwide). And if that's the case, it could be one of the biggest films of the summer.
