Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze Trailer: Whistling Dixie

Just because King K. Rool and his Kremlings are taking the day off doesn't mean DK and the rest of the Kongs can relax. Furry Vikings are invading in Retro Studios' Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, and in its E3 trailer, Donkey and Diddy Kong get some much needed back up.

In the trailer, the action goes at a bit of a faster pace than previous Donkey Kong Country titles. Gamers will get a surprise when they see their favorite apes of gaming can swim again, a feature that was not included in Donkey Kong Country Returns, the previous installment. Dixie Kong will add new mechanics to the game, making use of her hair-spinning hovers, as she picks up her partner and travels over short distances.

Gaming's favorite barrel-traversing monkeys will return in November 2013 for Wii U.
