Eli Manning is a lot of things. A Pro Bowl NFL quarterback. A two-time Super Bowl MVP. A multi-millionaire. But few people would note the younger Manning for his screen presence. We love him for his clutch football play but his work in TV commercials has been, uh, stilted at best. So how will he fare this weekend when he hosts 'Saturday Night Live?'

'SNL' released a new promo for this week's show that gives us an idea. So how'd he do?

Actually, not so bad! He's not quite Peyton, but considering, he actually held his own with Jason Sudeikis and Kenan Thompson. Sports stars traditionally haven't had the easiest time on 'SNL' - with the exception of the elder Manning who has starred in two classic sketches - "United Way" and "Locker Room Dance."

Expect a lot of Eli Manning playing Eli Manning (par for the course for athletes hosting 'SNL') and Eli in drag (cleverly referenced below) but if this promo is any hint of what to expect this weekend, Eli might prove he doesn't want to take the backseat to his brother in football or on TV. (And that he can actually be a better host than January Jones.)

'SNL' returns for three straight episodes starting this weekend with Eli and musical guest Rihanna.
