Peter Berg's true-life Navy SEAL drama 'Lone Survivor' has attracted another star -- Eric Bana is currently eyeing a role in the film alongside Mark Wahlberg and Taylor Kitsch. What? You thought Peter Berg would make a movie without Kitschy?

Variety reports that Eric Bana ('Hanna') is in talks to join Mark Wahlberg, Taylor Kitsch, and Ben Foster in Peter Berg's next project, 'Lone Survivor' -- also known as "the film that is still not the 'Friday Night Lights' movie we were promised."

The film is based on the book by Marcus Luttrell that chronicles the harrowing experience Luttrell and members of his Navy SEAL team endured when they were deployed to the Hindu Kush region in Afghanistan to assassinate a terrorist leader in 2005. The group was ambushed by Taliban forces in the mountains, and the film tells the story of their struggle to stay alive in the harsh environment while evading their enemies.

The film, produced by Peter Berg and Sarah Aubrey's Film 44 outfit, will begin shooting this fall.

Eric Bana can be seen next in 'Deadfall,' co-starring Olivia Wilde, Kate Mara, Kris Kristofferson, Sissy Spacek, and Charlie Hunnam. That film follows sibling robbers en route to Canada with a load of cash in the midst of a deadly blizzard during the Thanksgiving holiday.
