You know that person you were friends with on college who went vegan for like a month and wouldn’t shut up about it, so you started wishing they would just up and drown in their acai bowl? Well, with the upcoming Jigsaw, you might actually get your wish — at least, if the first image from the film is any indication.

Entertainment Weekly debuted a new still from the film, which sees a hapless woman (Laura Vandevoort) swimming for her life in a giant pool of something that could be grains, corn, pebbles, teeth, or really anything else that’s small and kinda brown, I can’t tell for sure.

One of the directors, Michael Spierig, is very excited about how “fun” this movie is going to be, if you can believe it:

We’ve got some pretty wild traps in the film — we don’t shy away from the gore. It’s such a perfect Halloween scarefest. It’s perhaps not quite as vicious and more fun, which is something we tried to inject into it. But it’s still full of good fun gore, that’s for sure. And, on top of that, it’s got a really great mystery, and there’s very interesting twists. It’s Saw for 2017.

If you’re hype for it, here’s the mysterious synopsis:

Bodies are turning up around the city, each having met a uniquely gruesome demise. As the investigation proceeds, evidence points to one man: John Kramer. But how can this be? The man known as Jigsaw has been dead for over a decade. Or has an apprentice picked up the mantle of Jigsaw, perhaps even someone inside the investigation?

Jigsaw hits theaters October 27.
