There’s plenty of movement on the ‘Divergent’ franchise front today: we have the first official image from the upcoming sequel, ‘Insurgent,’ featuring Shailene Woodley and her co-stars running away from … something. It could be the evil government, or it could be a dinosaur. Maybe ‘Insurgent’ is doing some cross-promotion with ‘Jurassic World.’ We just don’t know. Additionally, ‘Insurgent’ director Robert Schwentke has signed on to helm the next film in the series. Big day for the ‘—ent’ series.

Summit has released the first official image from ‘Insurgent,’ which you can view in full below. The sequel to ‘Divergent’ follows Shailene Woodley’s Tris and her pals on the run from the government, exiled to the fringes of society following the harrowing events of the first film. And the cast is definitely on the run in the photo. The official Twitter account for the movie has promised that we’ll see a new trailer on December 12.

In related news, Variety reports that ‘Insurgent’ director Robert Schwentke has signed on to direct ‘Allegiant - Part 1,’ the next film in the franchise, which began life as a series of dystopian YA books by Veronica Roth. Although there were only three books in that series, the final story has been split up into two films, surprising no one.

‘Insurgent’ stars Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Ansel Elgort, Miles Teller, Kate Winslet, and Naomi Watts, and hits theaters on March 20, 2015.
