After months of radio silence on final Wolverine movie, the past few weeks have been a flurry of activity. Not only did star Hugh Jackman confirm the film’s title (Logan) and producer Bryan Singer confirm the film’s villain (Mr. Sinister), the marketing team has twisted open the faucet a little and begun the slow drip of teaser photos leading up to the first trailers.

The Logan team has shared a few new images from the film over at their Instagram account, including an ominous-looking government facility and the remains of someone who seemingly tangled with Wolverine and lost:

Any movie that features disembodied limbs as part of its official marketing push is certainly aiming to earn its R-rating. This could represent an interesting twist for the character. Hugh Jackman has spent more than a decade walking a line between the character’s ultra-violent tendencies and the necessity of a PG-13 rating, so with the reigns fully off for his final go  —  and the film allegedly focusing on an older and more brutal version of the character  —  will the sudden influx of violence ring false or serve as the final chapter in Jackman’s saga? Either way, expect to see countless more black-and-white photos from the movie leading up to the first teaser trailer.

In addition to Hugh Jackman, Logan will also star Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant, and Stephen Merchant. The film will hit theaters on March 3, 2017.
