The featurettes, TV spots and images are starting to roll in for the upcoming science fiction film 'Prometheus,' and each one reveals a bit more about the Damon Lindelof-written story that has managed to stay a secret since shooting last year. Now a brand new featurette reveals even more about the movie and what fans can expect.

Yahoo Movies has the new feature which includes some new footage and reveals some tidbits of information regarding the plot. Director Ridley Scott, writer Damon Lindelof and stars Michael Fassbender and Noomi Rapace talk about the story and how the search for life's origins is something we may not ever want to pursue.

Ridley Scott, director of 'Alien' and 'Blade Runner,' returns to the genre he helped define. With 'Prometheus,' he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

The movie also stars Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Sean Harris, and Guy Pearce. Look for Prometheus to land in your local movie theater on June 8th.
