‘Rise of the Guardians’ Premieres Six Enchanting Character Posters

Move over, Batman, the 'Rise of the Guardians' are here. So it seems 'The Dark Knight' isn't the only thing rising this year, and we've got six new character posters from DreamWorks' 'Rise of the Guardians' to prove it.

The posters debuted over at the 'Rise of the Guardians' Apple site today. (And we've included the trailer below, if you haven't watched that already, you lazy film nerd.)

They feature the film's fresh take on the familiar mythical characters of our childhood -- Jack Frost, Santa Claus, Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny, and Sandman. Also included is Pitch, the boogeyman who unleashes an assault on Earth, and our childhood fantasy friends are the only ones who can stop him.

Oh, you didn't know Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny were mythical? Oops. You have to learn these things some time, and maybe this film is the perfect segue for that special conversation with your kids.

Anyway, the film is backed by the vocal talents of Chris Pine, Alec Baldwin, Hugh Jackman, Isla Fisher, and Jude Law, and hits theaters on November 21, just in time to warm and fuzzy up this holiday season.
