Shadowrun Returns Trailer: Welcome to the Sprawl

The Shadowrun series has had a long history, starting life as a pen-and-paper role-playing game and ending up as a first-person shooter produced by Microsoft. Most recently, it was brought to life again in Shadowrun Returns, a tactical RPG for the PC that was made possible thanks to Kickstarter. And now there's a trailer for the game.

The cyberpunk/fantasy mash-up known as Shadowrun Returns features a futuristic world in which magic and technology exist side by side, with fantasy creatures such as elves, trolls, orcs and dwarves roam around.

The trailer above gives us a brief overview of the game's classes, the environments and some of the gameplay that can be found in Shadowrun Returns. Jordan Weisman, creator of the original game, has turned Shadowrun into a single-player tactical RPG that can be enjoyed on Steam when it's released on July 25.
