Pre-production on Rupert Sanders’ (director of Snow White and the Huntsman) live-action adaptation of the seminal manga series Ghost in the Shell has been moving right along, accumulating cast members and staying right on schedule for a March 31 release in 2017. Scarlett Johansson has already signed on to play the lead role, a skilled female hacker who breaks up cybercrime in the employ of the Japanese National Public Safety Commission’s covert ops unit. Earlier this month, Borgen actor (and Johansson’s former co-star in the mind-bending Lucy) Pilou Asbæk joined the cast as her second-in-command, a lethal fighter in his own right.

Screen Gems is taking Pride and Prejudice and Zombies to Hall H next week at Comic-Con, where we’ll likely see the first trailer from the upcoming period horror flick. Ahead of the studio’s appearance at the con next week, they’ve released a batch of new photos from the film, which is based on the Seth Grahame-Smith mashup novel of the same name.

It's been awhile since we heard anything on the 'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies' movie since 'The Mortal Instruments' star Lilly Collins was said to be up for the leading role, but now, more than a year after that piece of info dropped, comes a firmed-up cast for the film.

The Josh Trank reboot of 'Fantastic Four' has found its foursome with Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell cast as Mr. Fantastic, The Invisible Girl, The Human Torch and The Thing, respectively, which means there's one last big piece of the puzzle: Dr. Victor von Doom, the quartet's greatest nemesis. Now it appears it's down to four actors.
