You may recall a horror film from 2007 called ‘Teeth,’ about a teen girl coping with the discovery that she’s been afflicted with the fabled Vagina Dentata. The director of that film, Mitchell Lichtenstein (yes, the son of famous pop artist Roy Lichtenstein) has returned with a new horror film, and this one looks way more atmospheric, but still appears to deal with sexual and gender politics, much like ‘Teeth.’ Bonus: it stars Jena Malone, who most recently appeared in ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay’ and ‘Inherent Vice.’
