You thought Halloween would see a horror movie lurch its way to the top of the box office? You thought wrong. Once again, The Martian took the number one spot at the box office this weekend, locking it in as the film of October 2015. Of the past five weekends, it only dropped out of first place once and even then, it was a very close second...

There are lots of product placements that would make sense in a movie about the world of fine dining like Burnt.

Bradley Cooper has, somewhat surprisingly, been nominated for Best Actor at the Oscars for the past three years (Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle and American Sniper). That was only the 10th time in history an actor had been nominated three years in a row, putting Cooper alongside actors like Jack Nicholson, Al Pacino and Marlon Brando...

You’ve got to give credit where credit is due. A decade ago, Bradley Cooper was playing smarmy villains in lowbrow comedies. Now, he’s one of the biggest movie stars in the world. You don’t get there by accident – you get there by being smart about the films you take on. So if Bradley Cooper wants to play a disgraced chef attempting a comeback, we’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. The Burnt trailer looks fine enough.

If the title Burnt means nothing to you, then perhaps you remember a project titled The Chef, or maybe Adam Jones, which was the most recent title of the upcoming drama starring Bradley Cooper.
