American Horror Story: Hotel’s latest castings haven’t done much to validate the series’ supposed Season 5 reinvention, but a new interview with Ryan Murphy might. Not only does the creator confirm that Denis O’Hare will return for Hotel, so too does the possibility of Jessica Lange’s return remain open, while a number of new Hotel details have emerged.

Late this past weekend saw American Horror Story Season 5 booking Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson to for a stay in the Hotel, but questions of the returning major cast remain. FX’s ‘American Horror Story’ has admittedly struggled a bit in recent seasons, ‘Freak Show’ displaying some initial promise over the directionless ‘Coven,’ but similarly losing steam before this week’s coming finale.
