New York City may be overrun with vampires, but The Strain has only begun to spread by news of its Season 2 premiere. FX has officially set a July debut for its next round of Guillermo del Toro horror, teasing the gang’s new mission with a full synopsis.

FX Guillermo del Toro vampire thriller The Strain gave us an early sneak peek at the apocalyptic New York carnage of Season 2 months ago, but with the outbreak due to return this coming July, fresh footage has finally escaped quarantine for a brand-new trailer.

Ragnar Lothbork and the ‘Vikings’ brood covered quite a bit of ground (and sea) in its first two seasons, but History will pillage onward as early as 2015. The network has officially set a season 3 premiere date for ‘Vikings,’ giving King Ragnar a time and place to reassemble the horde.

Now, as the series moves closer to pilot production, former 'LOST' showrunner Carlton Cuse has cast his first island alum, tasking Kevin Durand (Martin Keamy!) with a major new role.

Although 'Guardians of the Galaxy' has been a generally tight-lipped production on the official end, the unofficial end has been feeding movie news rumor mill, with all kinds of eyebrow-raising news coming in on a seemingly daily basis. The latest rumor throws two more names into the mix: former wrestler Dave Bautista and 'Lost' veteran Kevin Durand.
