Mel Gibson’s attempts at resurrecting his career after a few highly-publicized meltdowns have been rocky, at best. Jodie Foster’s ‘The Beaver’ bombed. Recently, Warner Bros. passed on a screenplay Gibson acquired from ‘Basic Instinct’ writer Joe Eszterhas. But a celebrated cult director would like to lend Gibson a helping hand by casting him in a potential sequel.

Having played both the Toronto and Vancouver Film festivals last year, it's finally time for Sarah Polley's 'Take This Waltz' to hit theaters June 29. The film stars Michelle Williams, Seth Rogen, Luke Kirby and Sarah Silverman in the tale of a woman who meets someone she's attracted to, but is already happily married.
