Two new videos for The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD have popped up on the official Japanese Nintendo YouTube channel, giving us a comparison of the graphics from the original game and the Wii U remake and then a glimpse at some more gameplay.

The video above shows a comparison of the graphics from the original GameCube version versus the updated HD visuals of the Wii U remake. As you can see, not only are the visuals more lush and given better lighting, but we also get to enjoy the game in a widescreen format, making the adventure that much bigger.

The second video shows us more gameplay footage of the HD remake, as well as some of the ways Wind Waker HD will take advantage of the Wii U GamePad. Unsurprisingly, we'll be able to play the game on the pad via Off-TV Play. The GamePad can also be used as a second screen, giving us a handy map and access to our inventory while adventuring around on our TVs.

Watch both videos above and look out for the retail release of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD on Oct. 4. The Wii U Deluxe Bundle will be released earlier, on Sept. 20, the same day as the digital version of the remake.
