So we're a week away from the limited release of Paul Thomas Anderson's 'The Master' and two weeks from its wide release. And guess what? There's a new clip from the movie that is -- without question -- not safe for work. It's pretty filthy, and it's also hilarious.

This clip was put online to sell the film's showing this Monday, September 10 at the Alamo Drafthouse, which is also a benefit for the Film Foundation. The film will be showing in 70mm and Anderson specifically picked this clip for that theater. If you know the Drafthouse, giving them this clip makes perfect sense. The scene features Joaquin Phoenix taking a Rorschach test, and all his answers are, well, see for yourself.

Here's the film's synopsis:

A striking portrait of drifters and seekers in post World War II America, Paul Thomas Anderson’s The Master unfolds the journey of a Naval veteran (Joaquin Phoenix) who arrives home from war unsettled and uncertain of his future — until he is tantalized by The Cause and its charismatic leader (Philip Seymour Hoffman)."

And here's that clip. 'The Master' opens September 14 in New York and Los Angeles, and will begin its expansion the week after.
