20. ‘The Jeffersons’

This theme perfectly encapsulates what 'The Jeffersons' was all about: a working class family (who first appeared on 'All in the Family') from Queens moves on up to a deluxe apartment in Manhattan, leaving their previous life -- but not their attitudes -- behind. The song, sung by Ja'net Dubois, is one of joy and celebration, and fitting for the series that ran from 1975 to 1985.
