The D23 Expo has kicked off, and Pixar is already getting us stoked for all of their upcoming projects. The Wreck-It Ralph sequel, Ralph Breaks the Internet, will bring analog Ralph and his candy-obsessed pals from Sugar Rush into the digital age, and now we know exactly how Pixar will do it.

Germain Lussier, reporter for Gizmodo and io9, has a live feed going on his Twitter account, where he revealed some tasty details about the Wreck-It Ralph sequel. Basically it’s going to be Disney-Pixar’s answer to The LEGO Movie franchise.

If you enjoyed the video game pastiche-ness of the original movie, Ralph Breaks the Internet sounds like it’s going to be a whole lot of fun for people who love any of the huge properties Disney owns. Avengers cameos! Princess cameos! Maybe even a Darth Vader cameo! Ralph and Vanellope’s world is about to get a whole lot bigger than they’d ever imagined.

From the look of things, it sounds like Ralph Breaks the Internet will also have something to do with apps. Is Sugar Rush getting turned into an app? Is that how these arcade game characters have access to the Internet? If there’s a Tetris app, then surely, surely someone would have figured out how to make an app out of a game that features a giant man destroying buildings. We already have Angry Birds, after all.

Ralph Breaks the Internet opens March 9, 2018.
