'After Earth' just debuted a new poster, which points out that you can tell that the summer movie season is right around the corner. Of late, we're getting more and more glimpses at the big films. And when you bring together M. Night Shyamalan, Will Smith and son Jaden Smith, you're talking about one of the biggest movies of the season.

Here's that new poster:

And if you didn't catch it in the trailer, those lines "Danger is real. Fear is a choice" are now the film's tagline, and definitely part of the marketing hook they're trying to hang this movie on. But as it stars young Jaden, we assume that the film is going to be more family friendly than those lines might suggest.

It's also worth noting that Shyamalan no longer gets his name in big letters on the poster. Perhaps his last couple films ('The Happening,' 'The Last Airbender') made him less of a selling point.

Here's the film's synopsis. 'After Earth' opens June 7.

A crash landing leaves teenager Kitai Raige (Jaden Smith) and his legendary father Cypher (Will Smith) stranded on Earth, 1,000 years after cataclysmic events forced humanity’s escape. With Cypher critically injured, Kitai must embark on a perilous journey to signal for help, facing uncharted terrain, evolved animal species that now rule the planet, and an unstoppable alien creature that escaped during the crash. Father and son must learn to work together and trust one another if they want any chance of returning home.
