It's been a while since M. Night Shyamalan stunk up the big screen with one of his disaster grenades. Lucky for us, he's getting ready to roll out another movie, and a brand new viral video, with tons of neat-o Facebook Timeline graphs, is now online to promote it.

'After Earth' is the latest flick from M. Night. The film stars Will and Jaden Smith, that power hitting dream team duo that moviegoers have been waiting to see ignite the big screen again since they last appeared in that homeless man movie where Jaden slept in a closet.

Not exactly sure what this viral video is trying to sell. The synopsis alone tells us all we need to know. Maybe it's to get people to like their Facebook page? Who knows. Here's the official synopsis:

In After Earth, one thousand years after cataclysmic events forced humanity’s escape from Earth, Nova Prime has become mankind’s new home. Legendary General Cypher Raige (played by Will Smith) returns from an extended tour of duty to his estranged family, ready to be a father to his 13-year-old son, Kitai (played by Jaden Smith). When an asteroid storm damages Cypher and Kitai’s craft, they crash-land on a now unfamiliar and dangerous Earth. As his father lies dying in the cockpit, Kitai must trek across the hostile terrain to recover their rescue beacon. His whole life, Kitai has wanted nothing more than to be a soldier like his father. Today, he gets his chance.

A movie that makes Jaden look like a heroic soldier? CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT ONE. 'After Earth' crash lands in theaters sometime in 2013. Here's the viral video.
