Etan Cohen (not to be confused with Ethan of Joel and Ethan Cohen) is making the transition from writer to director with 'Boy Scouts Vs. Zombies,' scripted by Carrie Evans and Emi Mochizuki ('College Road Trip').

Just in case you didn't get the premise from that literal title, The Hollywood Reporter provides this synopsis:

"'Boy Scouts' centers on a troop that must save a group of girl scouts from a pack of zombies with designs on spoiling a camping trip."

There's no word yet if or how cookies will play a part in this film, but it's safe to say they probably will since girl scouts are kind of irrelevant without them.

Cohen will direct the film from a script currently being re-worked by Lona Williams (the hysterical 'Drop Dead Gorgeous') for Paramount. Cohen has previously worked on scripts for 'Tropic Thunder,' 'Madagascar 2,' Ben Stiller's forthcoming remake of 'The Incredible Mr. Limpet,' and the upcoming 'Men in Black III,' which raises two questions: Is Ben Stiller in 'Men in Black III'? Is Ben Stiller involved with 'Boy Scouts vs. Zombies,' and sub-question: Does Ben Stiller have a legit hook-up for Samoas?
